Category: Brand:
Super NES (NTSC), Nintendo 64 (RGB modded) to RGBS HD15 (DE-15 D-Sub) Coaxial Pro cable, broadcast-grade 75Ω mini-coax, fully double-shielded with dedicated grounds. The Retro Access exclusive 3-position MultiSync selector switch supports three sync modes: Composite Sync (CS), Sync on Luma (Y), and Sync on Composite Video (CV). This allows wider flexibility for compatibility across a wide variety consoles and mods. An integrated sync stripper generates clean CSync from the selected signal. ⚠️ New-Style Super NES, Super Famicom Jr. and Nintendo 64 will require an RGB mod upgrade wired in accordance with the standard SNES NTSC pinout for use with this cable. Compatibility: Super NES (NTSC-U, USA) Super Famicom (NTSC-J, Japan) AV Famicom with RGB Mod New-Style Super NES (NTSC-U, USA) with RGB Mod Super Famicom Jr. (NTSC-J, Japan) with RGB Mod Nintendo 64 with RGB Mod ⚠️ The automatic detection of the etim NESRGB V5 will not function due to incompatibility with cables utilizing a sync buffer or stripper. RGB mode must be manually set. Refer to the NESRGB V5 video and controller instructions. Not Compatible With: Super NES (PAL) GameCube For Use With: RetroTINK 4K CE, 4K Pro. OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter). Morph 4k with Analog Bridge Expansion Module. Switches including the SVS. Matrix switches including Extron MVX. ⚠️ This is not a VGA cable. HD15 (DE-15 D-Sub) cables are configured for 15kHz RGBS (not 31 kHz RGBHV) and are generally incompatible with VGA monitors. Features: Three Sync Modes: Composite Sync (CSync, “CS”), Sync on Luma (“Y”), Sync on Composite Video (CVBS, “CV”). Integrated sync stripper generates a problem-free TTL (5V) level CSync signal on pin 13, converting the selected sync type mode. Genuine Kemet premium 220 µF Tantalum AC coupling capacitors within the console connector provide clean, precise RGBS signals at the source, preventing unwanted DC bias along the cable, preserving accurate color, contrast and brightness. 2.5mm (1/10″) TRS aux jack for Stereo Audio. Included 2.5mm to 3.5mm TRS audio “aux” cable. MINI-COAX CABLE Miniature Coaxial ("Mini-Coax") is a benchmark professional-grade cable developed exclusively for Retro Access to deliver the highest possible analog audio and video quality out of your retro gaming systems. Mini-Coax maintains a true 75Ω characteristic impedance, with each signal line featuring a polyethylene dielectric for precision impedance control and full coverage individually shielded copper spiral wrap with isolated grounds. Thicker and higher quality, its fully double-shielded construction blocks crosstalk, rejects external interference, and meets professional studio and broadcast-grade standards. It is the only RGB cable of its kind. Prevents signal reflections, ringing and ghosting for uncompromised video fidelity. Virtually eliminates the color bleed crosstalk and audio buzzing experienced in lower quality cables. Maintains brightness and color accuracy, providing crisp RGB, especially over lengths beyond 6 ft (1.8 m). Visit the Knowledge Center to learn more about Mini-Coax.   ⚠️ Model 1CHIP-03, a rare variant of the original “fat” Super NES does not natively output CSync from the AV Multi Out port, therefore it requires an internal CSync restoration upgrade to use the CSync mode of this cable.
