The product is great. I gave it to my 94 year old mother. She doesn’t have strong hands but she is able to handle this glass easily. The LED lights on the underside provide focused illumination, which is as necessary as the magnification for someone with poor vision. The small 10x lens is actually large enough to use for reading a book. The competitive products only had small quarter size or smaller spots of higher magnification. Lenses are easy to change, secure when attached. the handle has a great grip and the overall weight of the glass is very manageable.Saving the best for last. The very day the glass was delivered I received a cheerful email from the company checking to see if the glass was in good working order and if I was happy with it. I explained it was a gift for my mother and I’d get her personal review after she tried it out. A few weeks after she received it, one of the two LED bulbs went out. Mom was still using it, but she had really enjoyed the light from both bulbs. LED bulbs, particularly small ones, are fragile and it’s easy to see how there might be a defect or error in manufacturing, but I was still very happy with the product. I emailed the company only to see if I might get a replacement bulb or get the info necessary to track down a replacement on my own. I wrote the email on a Saturday night because that’s when I remembered to do it. Imagine my surprise in a couple of hours when I got a reply from a human being, not an auto-responder. He was not in a third world call center. He asked for the address to send a complete replacement glass, without even expecting me to return the one with the bad LED. What?? I was flabbergasted. This company answered me personally, in a couple of hours on a weekend, not days or weeks, and wanted to send a free replacement without even being asked? He did it, too. That was several months ago and all the LEDs in the new glass are still working just fine, the lenses still interchange easily and often, while my Mom does NY Times crossword puzzles (at 94). Thanks to iMagniphy, she can enjoy activities that require magnification, which is about everything for her. I don’t believe I’ve ever been the recipient of this kind of personal customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy any product they sell. If they go public, I’ll buy stock. Any company as concerned with ensuring a successful product experience for their customers as this company is deserves to be successful. Buy from them fearlessly. They’ve got your back.
