Levanzin and Vella Haber – two educators, journalists, and cultural protagonists – worked for the emancipation of Maltese men and women, through their journalism, prose, and Moviment tal-Malti. This book, with notes and photos, sheds light on these writers and reminds us of the value of our language – Maltese – in times of great cultural transformation.
